CCDO Demolition Labourer Description

The green CCDO Demolition Labourer Card is the first step in a Demolition qualification. Designed for individuals new to the industry or who are converting from labouring in general construction to Demolition. The CCDO Demolition Labourer course teaches site safety, waste disposal and emergency procedures, enabling holders of the card to perform general labouring duties under supervision.

Green CCDO Labourer card valid for 5 years. This card is renewable, however, most Labourers progress onto the Demolition & Refurbishment Operative card before renewal

Duties

•  General labouring duties under supervision as directed by Chargehand or above.
•  Assist teams of CCDO Demolition Refurbishment Operatives and CCDO Advanced Demolition Operatives in the clearing arising from the demolition processes being undertaken and ensure the correct segregation of wastes prior to removal from the demolition site.
•  Assist in the soft strip function under the guidance of a Chargehand or Supervisor where required.
